The Exact thing you need for D8 Sony DCR-TRV Models. Really. It works fine. It does fix the camera when you see that prompt that flashes after a few years of use that says "CLEANING CASSETTE" "CLEANING CASSETTE" over and over. You can't get by without this thing. I just wish I would have bought it when it was $9.99 at my local store years ago. The shipping is about the same price of the item, but good luck finding one at your local store. After you open it and stick it in your camera, you will be A-OK again in 10 seconds. This is it folks. Crack open the wallet and whip out the Credit card. Also, I do not work for any Co. affiliated with this company or product. I have no agenda. I mean what I wrote.

Excellent and Useful Product
By virtue of transferring V8 tape to DV, I became aware of the image quality before and after head cleaning. After cleaning, the video was considerably better, clearer and with better color quality even though the tapes were 15 years old. Cleaning the tape heads was extremely easy and well worth the very reasonable price. Buy one and use it. You'll like the results.

I recieved this product, and it didn't work in my dvd-dcr 810. Excellent service from Cameta Camera. took the product back and recieved a refund with no questions or problems. I would have liked the product to work, but at least the service was exceptional.

Nice Compact, Camcorder Bag
This is a great little camcorder bag that even comes with an additional battery.

Problem for me is the battery did not fit my camera. It was the same size, but does not lock into place.

But as for a straight camcorder bag is works great.

A must-have for your Sony camcorder
We bought this bag with our Sony video camera from Amazon. We wanted something that would keep our camcorder safe and hold lots of tapes and accessories too. We have not been disappointed. It's a great size--big enough to hold everything we need (we even keep our regular digital camera and its accessories in there too), but small enough that we don't feel like we're weighed down. I would highly recommend this product--I think it would be great for just about any camcorder and not just Sony.

The bag is great, the battery on the other hand is outdated for the new camcorder I also purchased and does not fit.

Due to the fact it was inside the gear bag and I opened the box I now have been told I can not return for a refund. Could have purchased the battery locally for less than I now have in it and I still have to purchase a battery. Live and learn, last time I will use Amazon for a purchase.

DOES IT ALL...and FAST
This is a MUST HAVE if you are using the Sony FX7 as I am....slots for two batteries and great digital info readout...and FAST! Also, if your cam doesn't have a direct AC plugin port...this gives you one via the "battery" slot. Nice package.

Great Charger
This charger will work with both infoLITHIUM and non chip based bateries.

When using non infoLITHIUM bateries it does not do a Quick charge or display charge information.


Also it is indicated that it is capable of charging two batteries at the same time. I have yet to see this happen. It charges one battery then moves to the next when the first is charged.

versatile unit
The fact you can charge two batteries is handy, although note: they charge consecutively, not simultaneously. Still nice to be able to leave overnight after a big shoot, and both batteries are charged. All the cables are included, especially the car charger is a nice addition (I just leave it in the car, so all I have to do is unplug the unit at home, throw it in my case and I can charge on the road). And if you are really in a bind, it comes with two cables for straight camera hookup, so with an outlet nearby you can record lengthy conferences and training sessions without batteries altogether. I have owned the unit for only a few weeks, but the I have found the speed of charge to be sufficient. I particularly enjoy the feature that shows the amount of time left to charge, as well as the time you will have should you choose to take the battery of the charger before it is finished charging. I can't think of anything else I would want a charger to do, so I'll have to give it 5 stars based on the few weeks using it.

Worked for a few months and is too expensive!
I bought this charger with a canon camera. It worked for several months, and then died. Now, I am faced with replacing it at the expense of almost half the cost of the camera. What a rip off!
