Designed for use with the VariZoom FlowPod handheld stabilizer, this extra weight kit lets you properly balance your Canon XL1, XL1s, or any other camera weighing more than 5 pounds. The kit includes four standard FlowPod counterweights and one special counterweight for the camera itself to balance out the front-heavy weight distribution. Each standard counterweight checks in at 0.3 pounds, while the special weight is roughly 0.35 pounds.

These extra weights make the Flow-Pod usable with my new FX1000, which is slightly heavier than the VX2100 was. Two of the weights (of the four included in the kit) were enough to allow me to balance properly. Well worth the $20.
